Cyber threats are becoming more common, artificial intelligence is becoming more widely used, and many organisations are being expected to keep up without always having the time, confidence, or internal expertise to do so effectively. For many businesses, that creates uncertainty — not because they are unwilling to adapt, but because clear, practical guidance is often missing, Repogramme was created to help bridge that gap.

Founded in a rural area of England, Reprogramme was built from the belief that many businesses rely on digital systems every day without fully understanding the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities that come with them. With a strong interest in business, law, and the way organisations operate in practice, the focus has always been on making complex digital topics more accessible, more practical, and more relevant to real working environments.

We deliver training aligned with the principles of Cyber Essentials, the UK government-backed baseline standard for protecting organisations against common online threats. Rather than focusing on technical complexity or certification, our approach is designed to help people understand the risks they are most likely to face in real working environments — from phishing emails and password habits to unsafe digital behaviours and everyday security blind spots.

On the AI side, we help businesses understand what artificial intelligence actually means for them in practical terms. AI is already changing the way organisations operate, but for many teams, the conversation is happening without clear boundaries, guidance, or confidence. We support businesses in exploring AI responsibly — helping them understand where it may add value, where caution is needed, and how it can be approached in a way that is useful, safe, and realistic.

The National Cyber Security Centre describes Cyber Essentials as the minimum standard of cyber security recommended by the Government for organisations of all sizes.

43% of UK businesses identified a cyber breach or attack in the last 12 months

According to the UK Government’s Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025, just over 4 in 10 businesses reported experiencing a cyber breach or attack in the previous year.

Phishing remains the most common and disruptive threat

Among businesses that experienced a breach or attack, 85% said phishing was involved, and 65% said it was the most disruptive type of attack they faced.

Human behaviour still plays a major role

IBM’s breach research notes that human error continues to be a significant contributor to incidents, alongside malicious attacks and technical failures — reinforcing the importance of awareness, behaviour, and day-to-day decision-making.

Cyber incidents can quickly become costly

The UK Government found that the average self-reported cost per business of cyber crime (excluding phishing) was £990, rising to £1,970 when zero-cost incidents are excluded. For cyber-facilitated fraud, the average reported cost rose to £5,900, or £10,000 excluding zero-cost responses.

Cyber security increasingly affects commercial credibility

The National Cyber Security Centre notes that a growing number of organisations require suppliers to be certified in Cyber Essentials in order to bid for work — showing that good cyber practice is not just about protection, but also about trust and opportunity.
